VSF Marks New Year with Education and Sustainability Initiative

Bengaluru : Vijai Sambhav Foundation (VSF) began the year with a meaningful social initiative focused on education and sustainability at the clubhouse of Chourasia Manor Apartment. The programme reflected the Foundation’s strong commitment to giving back to society by supporting underprivileged children and nurturing responsible values from an early age.

As part of the initiative, 51 needy students from Vidya Vikas School were selected as beneficiaries. Each child received a well-equipped study kit containing notebooks, pens, geometry boxes, and eco-friendly cotton bags. Beyond the distribution of educational material, VSF volunteers engaged with the students, motivating them to value education, build professional aspirations, and develop confidence for the future.

Sustainability formed a key theme of the programme. VSF Founder Chairman, Ravi Rajhans sensitised students about avoiding single-use plastic and encouraged to adopt the #VSFPledgeNotoPlastic, with an emphasis on spreading awareness within their families and communities. The organisers expressed special satisfaction that a majority of the beneficiaries were girl students, reinforcing VSF’s commitment to inclusive growth and empowerment.

VSF volunteers present on the ground included Ravi Rajhans, Sonal Kirty, John Britto, Carol Britto, Niteesh Nath, Jitendra Kumari, Vijai Shankar Gupta, and Bhuvanesh Gupta. Representatives from Vidya Vikas School—Kiran Reddy, Priyanka Gowda, Mrs. Vineeta, and Mrs. Jindal—also joined the programme. VSF thanked the school staff for screening and identifying deserving students, ensuring the initiative reached those most in need.
