Fly Back to Your Homeland”: A New Story of Rural India, Cultural Heritage, and Nation Building

Bengaluru / Bhind : Written with Indian culture, patriotism, social responsibility, and moral values at its core, Fly Back to Your Homeland (Udd Chal Apne Des) is not just a book—it is a call for responsible and aware citizenship.

Through his new book, Fly Back to Your Homeland, Abhishek Chauhan, Director in the Ministry of Defence, shares his experiences, social observations, and deep concern for India’s cultural values and heritage.

The book focuses on the changing face of rural India, the growing neglect of history and cultural heritage, the need for environmental conservation, the challenges of mental health, and the role of every citizen in nation building. Abhishek Chauhan, a Commissioner-rank officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Defence, presents these themes through his personal experiences, professional insights, and social observations.

Born and educated in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, Chauhan spent his childhood in the rich social and cultural environment of the Chambal–Yamuna Doab region. His love for nature, Indian philosophy, rural life, and social awareness forms the foundation of this book.

The author’s deep connection with rural India and his passion for Indian philosophy are reflected throughout every chapter. Fly Back to Your Homeland is especially inspiring for young readers. It emphasizes that serving the nation does not require holding high office or performing extraordinary deeds. Instead, nation building begins with small, meaningful, and positive actions taken by ordinary citizens every day.
